Bhopal Development Authority

BDA was set up on the 15 September 1976, The Madhya Pradesh Town and Country Planning Act, 1973 under sub-section (1) of section 38 of the Act by the Government of Madhya Pradesh as an apex body for planning and co-ordination of development activities in the Madhya Pradesh comprising of Bhopal and its influence area. In particular, it conceives, promotes and monitors the key projects for developing new growth centres and bring about improvement in sectors like transport, housing, water supply and environment in the Region.
